Walk no. 1 : Fjøsnastølen
On this walk you will experience a nice view over the Lusterfjord and the mountains of the southside of the fjord. In east you will see the hamlet Optun and the peak Fanaråken. |

Walk no. 2 : Åsetevatnet
On this walking tour you will get a great panorama of the Mørkrid valley (see the picture to the right), Åsetelake with mountain huts and the well known peaks of the West-Jotunheimen. See also our self made map of with historic names included. |
Walk no. 3 og 4 : Storatjørna-Dulsete
This is a nice walk through a rich botany landscape in the Mørkrid valley. On the trip you will see the Kakkasgjels falls, silent and magic small lakes and old mountain huts. |
Walk no. 5 : Rebni and Rebnisli
This is a panoramatour past the mountain farms Flaten, Skåri and Rebni to the mountain pasture Rebnisli. You will experience a nice view against Skjolden centre and the Lusterfjord. |
Walk no. 6 : Sengjaberget
Sengjaberget or translated to "Bed Rock" you can reach by walking not far away from Skjolden Centre. From here you`ll get a nice panorama of Skjolden, Eidsvatnet and the Lusterfjord. |
Walk no. 7 : Gjerseggi
This hike is offering a view against the Fortun valley and the mountains on the opposite side You can also see the disused mountain farms Fuglesteg and Furåsen from here. |
Walk no. 8 : Furåsen
On this journey you will explore the disused mountain farm Furåsen. Nice view over the Fortun valley and the surrounded peaks. |
Walk no. 9 : Fuglesteg
In Fuglesteg (tranlated: "The birds path") you`ll find a restored mountain farm with the buildings built in stone from the area. It is also a nice view from here down to Skjolden and to the mountain farm Gjerseggi.

Walk no. 10 : Walking tours in Skjolden Centre part 1 and part 2
On these walking tours you will learn about the local history by visiting both buildings in the centre, and important places for the village throught centuries. Wittgenstein was living here in his first period when he came to Skjolden. |
